Privacy policy

Short version: we do not sell personal information or ask for an account.

What we collect

The store price-report form asks only for a menu item, the price or availability you saw, and the date. It does not ask for your name, email, address or payment details. Reports are kept for factual review and never appear publicly as comments. If you email us, we keep that email only to answer it.

To limit automated abuse, the report endpoint converts network metadata into a one-way keyed hash. The raw IP address is not stored, the hash is not shown in the admin panel, and it is used only to enforce submission limits.

AI chat and browser storage

The optional AI chat sends your question and recent conversation to our server. For AI-generated replies, your question, relevant site data and up to six previous messages are sent to Groq, our AI service provider. Previous messages are shortened to 400 characters each before being forwarded. The chat endpoint also uses your IP address in temporary in-memory counters to limit abuse. Do not include contact details, payment information or other sensitive information in chat messages.

Chat saves up to 20 recent messages and a randomly generated browser identifier in your browser's local storage. When chat opens, a saved conversation older than seven days since its last save is removed. The clear-conversation control clears the saved messages; clearing this site's browser data also removes the identifier. Session storage remembers whether the chat panel is open.

Clearing browser history does not delete requests already sent to our providers. Groq's processing of API customer data is governed by its services agreement and data processing addendum. This website does not promise a provider-side deletion or retention period based on the browser's seven-day history setting.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read and how people arrive here. It is a third-party service: it sets and reads a first-party cookie holding a randomly generated identifier, so that repeat page views can be counted as one visit rather than several, and it receives your IP address as part of each request. We do not send it your name, your email, or anything you submit through the price-report form.

Google processes this data as our analytics provider, under its own terms. If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes an opt-out browser add-on. Browser privacy controls or tracker-blocking extensions may limit analytics cookies or scripts, depending on their settings. Nothing on this site needs analytics to work — every price, table and opening time is in the page itself.

Advertising and third-party cookies

We use Google AdSense to serve and measure advertising on this site.

Third parties place and read cookies on your browser as a result of that ad serving. Google and the advertising partners it works with may set and read cookies on your device, and may use web beacons (also called pixels or clear GIFs), your IP address and similar device identifiers, to select ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure whether an ad worked, and detect fraud. These parties act on their own behalf, not ours, and we do not control the cookies they set. You can read what Google collects on publisher sites like this one in How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable it and its partners to personalise ads based on those visits. You can also opt out of participating third-party vendors' personalised advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out tool.

We do not send AdSense or any advertising partner your name, your email, or anything you submit through the price-report form.

Depending on your location and your consent choices, ads may be personalised or non-personalised. You can manage ad personalisation in Google’s ad settings. Browser privacy controls or tracker-blocking extensions may also limit advertising cookies or scripts, depending on their settings. Nothing on this site needs advertising to work — every price, table and opening time is in the page itself.

Outbound links

We link to official brand sites and delivery platforms. Once you leave this site, their privacy policies apply, not ours. Some outbound links may be affiliate links; that never changes what we list or how we rank anything.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask what personal information we hold about you. Price reports are not tied to a name or email, so we normally cannot identify one as yours. Requests about an email you sent us go to the address on the contact page.
